Nike has just released another colorway of the all-new Nike KD 11 after dropping the EYBL/Peach Jam pair last week. Now they have given us the all-blue pair that is being dubbed the Paranoid colorway.
After winning back-to-back NBA championships and Finals MVP trophies, Kevin Durant’s Summer is looking pretty relaxed right now. However, there’s also the matter of his free agency, although it is highly unlikely that KD will go anywhere else considering Warriors GM Bob Myers has openly stated that he’d give Durant “whatever he wants” to stay in the Bay. While that mini-drama plays itself out, Durant’s fans have his new shoes – the KD 11 – to look forward to, and it looks like the “Paranoid” colorway just dropped overseas. A U.S. release date for this blue/volt pair still eludes us , but grab them now on Nike Europe.
While some may take a break when they reach the top, KD now works harder than ever knowing that everyone is after his spot. Fueled by the paranoia of losing what he’s worked to attain, he obsesses over his game, continually pushing past his own pinnacle. The Nike KD 11 Paranoid honors his maniacal mindset for winning and the use of what he calls “appropriate fear” to prevent him from ever settling. The shoe features a light blue Flyknit upper with royal blue overlays and white branding. A semi translucent midsole with full-length Nike Zoom Air cushioning lodged inside responsive Nike React foam.
The KD 11 rides atop a rubber cupsole to contain its React and full-length Zoom Air setup. Nightwing2303 and Stanley T. both say the shoe rides high (and both were not fans of the shoe, although the cushion is money). You can learn more by checking out Nightwing2303’s Nike KD 11 Performance Review.
