Nike Kobe AD NXT 360 “Lakers”

Kobe Bryant’s signature collection remains full of life long beyond his final farewell at Staples Center. Bryant’s A.D. collection, which has numerous iterations to speak of, is now anchored by possibly its best execution yet — the Nike Kobe A.D. NXT 360.Covered in lightweight and breathable Flyknit construction that is applied through a budding methodology, its 360 degree wrap is a revolutionary update to Flkyknit implementation giving the shoe a sock-like fit. Traction is also at a premium with a heavily tooled outsole. This “Lakers” colorway is one of several that have released this year. For true Black Mamba fans, though, this might be the one.

On Mamba Day 2018, Kobe and Nike debuted the next chapter of Bryant’s signature footwear line with the Kobe AD NXT 360. Equipped with a 360 degree Flyknit upper that is designed to flex with the wearer’s foot for maximum comfort, this new look comes dressed in Lakers colors. Its translucent outsole combines yellow and purple while housing its state-of-the-art React foam cushioning and Lunarlon technology with a rugged traction pattern for added stability on the court. While Demar Derozan has been the poster child for Kobe sneakers in the Black Mamba’s absence, do not expect to see the Toronto Raptors All-Star wearing these in Game 5 against the Washington Wizards. Its Yellow Strike upper that comes with red Kobe branding embroidered on the heel would not quite match the Raptors’ aesthetic. Pairs of the this Los Angeles-themed Kobe AD NXT 360 will arrive at Swoosh Brand Basketball retailers on May 24th with an MSRP of $200 USD.

Nike Kobe AD NXT 360 “Infrared”

While Kobe Bryant might be two years removed from his illustrious NBA career, his signature line of Nike footwear continues to live on as one of the most popular options among current players. That line’s newest addition, the Kobe AD NXT 360 is the second iteration to be given an AD monicker – alluding to the future hall-of-famer’s post-NBA career – and continues the Black Mamba’s long line of low-top offerings. Its next-gen Flyknit construction wraps the offering fully to give the sneaker a sock-like fit while its rugged outsole that comes dressed in orange here keeps its on-court durability in-tact. White makes up for the vast majority of its upper, while Bryant’s signature logo can be seen embroidered in red on the heel. Enjoy a detailed set of images below and mark your calendars for the June 14th release date of the Kobe AD NXT 360 in “Infrared”.
